Sunflowers & Roses!
Ah Po was doing her 'business' when I reached there with the 5 stalks of beautiful sunflowers( from Me, Kelvin, Jerry, Jocelyn, Hanchao, Hanson, Guizhu, Sihui & Siqi). I purposely stood by the entrance of the ward, to see if she saw me. Yep! She saw me & even told the nurse, that her grandchild brought her flowers & fruit basket! :D
I said I wanna take a photo of her with my handphone. She's quickly posed for me! Wah, I thought she would reject me, cuz' she always says old people look ugly, or she's not well-dressed. Guess she's very happy!
The next day, after I emailed Auntie Aki about Ah-Po's hospitalisation details & us buying Ah-Po sunflowers, Auntie Aki asked me to help her buy a dozen of roses for Ah-Po. Nice hor? Er Gu bought the roses. I sorta 'lectured' Er Gu for getting the 3 stalks of roses bouquet! Long story. Bygones!
Aren't she smiling beautifully?? Haha... She kept asking who gave her the roses, cuz' she kept forgetting about it. She wanted to remember you see.
You know ah, out of the 6 patients in the ward, only Ah-Po got flowers! Not 1 but 2 bouquets of flowers okay!!! Anyway, we're glad she discharged the next day! :D
I'll upload photos of Ah-Po's 90th Birthday celebration( on the day of discharge; Saturday night) at a wonderful vegetarian buffet restaurant soon! Yummy!!! Jocelyn & Jerry, u both MISSED a GREAT meal & lotsa LAUGHTERS!!! & Gu Ma, we bet you'll love this restaurant too!

yar lar tell u guys dinner I cannot attend already. Not like I never tell you guys in advance. Hanson say ok only leh. haha. But I guess it's the family environment that makes the food delicious.
Aiya, u think we duno meh. But sunday, ur parents got 7th mth dinner. Then sihui can't wait till next week. & I duno who made the decision. So..too bad. Aiya, Korkor=carnivous. It's a lot better than Sim Lim Rd there, of cuz' there's the price difference. ha...
When I asked my mum on Friday after the hosp visit if you guys decided on the day of the meal, my mum said should be Sat. I said why not nxt week, she was like where got people celebrate bday one week later. Then I know I might miss already lar. Hopefully nxt time no clashed lor.
Actually hor, we oso duno the exact date of Ah-Po's birthday leh. LOL. I only know, so long as we celebrate her birthday in the month of August, can liao. LOL. So the date is arranged based on everybody, or i shld say, most of us's availability!
then my mum anyhow say lar. if not nxt week also can mah.
