Thief in the House

Ah Po is better now, regaining her usual self. Sorry I'm unable to post any photos as I'm busy working.

Well, regaining her usual self sounds good but then, that means her old habits are starting to form again. Yesterday, she was mumbling to herself, cursing why her money was stolen. Lamenting her life's very hard, blah blah blah. If u're hearing this the first time, bear in mind she mumbles that almost every other day. It's not that we're not concerned about her but...how can you stop an old woman from grumbling about her life, when she dun think her present life is good enuff to compensate??? Dad said she kept opening & closing her locked closet the whole day, to check that little amount of money she kept inside. Not only yesterday but for many days, even since before she went hospital. I guess, she however, still can't recover from the deep impact she had, when one of our previous maids, stole her few thousand bucks of savings she kept at home. Nobody except the observant maid knows. Adding the fact that her memory isn't good, doesn't lighten the situation at all. Last week, she said the key to her locked drawer was missing.(Found it anyway; can't remember where it was) She wanted to ask Ita, our current maid, whether she took it. Er Gu stopped her from doing so, as it'll breach the trust between us n the maid. Besides, Ita is such a pure, innocent, hardworking person. U'll know if u meet her. However, Er Gu's impatience doesn't curb Ah-Po from having CaoCao's suspicious character. She shot that question. Ita broke down. Haiz. Why don't she trust the person who cared for her everyday? Juz because she's not one of us? It's not like Ita couldn't possibly be a thief, but from what it seems like, Ah-Po is having a 'money & trust' problem. Not only with Ita but everyone else. She juz couldn't let go of her money. Not forgetting that she sometimes forgets where she placed her money or key & started the hu-ha all over again. Someone stole her money la, her life damn chiam lah, her family(us) dun care for her lah, etc, etc. -_-" What can we do??? It's like duno wanna cry or laugh manz. I guess the impact is too big for her to overcome. Haiz.

& ya, this hu-ha applies to the medicine too. She kept wanting to take the pills when she has already taken. She'll claim that she din & secretly eat them. Ita will spot that & stop her. She'll then scold Ita & tell the rest of us, Ita dun let her take medicine. -_-" Poor Ita. Drama right? Remember the 'pill timetable' we did for her? I posted the photo up earlier on. Well, tat doesn't ease her mind. Now it's all verbal talking. Yes, u taken. No, the time's not right. Nowadays, she hardly trust what we say. Or rather, she's very obstinate about her own views. Thinking she's always right, we are the ones unfilial to her. Sometimes, you can't blame Er Gu for flaring at her. We all can't change how Ah-Po wanna thinks & behaves. We can only play along. :/

So now you know why her heart pains? Psychology plays a part. *shrugs*
