First Sunday of March

It's a lovely sunday for a liberation event. Late morning, me & Dad went to a lakeside to attend this meaningful event. Quite a lot of people attended too.

Nice peaceful environment ;)

Here's Dad overlooking the scenery.

Today we're releasing the birdies, fishies, froggies, tortoises & crickets. This little boy there was asking his parents whether he could keep the tortoise! Hehehe...

There were a few big tortoises for you to 'adopt' to release. The adopters were writing their names on the back of their selected tortoises with red paint. Check out the sign! They even drew a tortoise on it! Hehehe...

There's also the flower & lamp offering. Dad helped Mom & Ah-po made the offering. If you're observant, you can read the name :P Anyway, nice flower arrangements ya?

There were slightly more people than seen in the photos. Duno why more people turned up as time passed by. Guess they can't wake up on time heh?! It's a nice little shady place by the way! There were also 水供 & 烟供 & puja. Erm... These are common tibetian buddhism practices :) They were very considerate too. They even brought a water container + toilet roll for us to wash & dry our hands after the event. & not to mentioned, they even provided a light lunch! Bee hoon, some kuahs & fruits. Me & dad left after the lunch, giving up the puja. Cuz' gotta wait for ALL to finish lunch then began. Kinda tired la.

In the afternoon, we went to Orchard Takashimaya(taka in short). Mom wanted to spend the $30 taka vouchers, which she won from her company events. & also, 顺便 buy the durian pancakes at taka basement, where all the food stalls are. $1.50 for one durian pancake lehhh but of course, they're very yummy cuz' each contains D24 durian! :O~ drools... they're having promotion now, buy 4 get 1 free. We bought 15 in total, including the free ones. Ahaha.. Big family at home mah :P

Oh well, Mom bought a pink monkey at $49.90. We can't believe manz. Tat mini monkey bolster(??) is so expensive!!! We can use tat sum of money for more valuable stuffs! I even gave up the $10 taka voucher, which Mom gave me earlier, to fulfil her 'lifelong dream'. She claimed it's her first time buying herself a stuffed toy. OKAY *roll eyes*

Anyway, we had a great eating time there, we bought Bread papa(very delicious vanilla custard puff), roti prata sausage(black pepper chicken) with 5 mini cheese sausages, Siqi bought a best-selling brownie...Kelvin bought me a Orange Julius's Strawberry banana drink. Buahahaha... SHhhhh...dun tell Dad we ate before dinner. Too tempting & sorta hungry la :P

We tried to ease our filling stomach by walking around, looking at the latest handphones. Oh ya, forgot to mention, we watched a drum performance by a genius kid called Ethan Ong outside Paragon. He was featured on a local documentary TV show on genius kids previously & we did watched tat episode. We found him amazing thru tv & even more amazing in person! Kelvin said the kid performed there every Sunday, causing congestions there...which sorta irritated the security guards there. Ahahaha... Well, tat kid's really great!!! Only 6 years old!!! He even have a website -> http://www.ethanong.com/ He's so adorable when he came outta his drums set & bowed to the public at the end of the performance. Way to go kid!!!

Luckily the walking digested some food & hence we could still go for dinner :P We went to Europa Club-House right after the shopping & eating. Guess it was our last time there cuz' the club house's closing by end of march. *shrug* While washing our hands in the toilet, I figured I'll miss the nice dark-tiled toilet with nice lighting, auto flowing taps & unlimited usage of hand-tissues. Sihui thought the same thing too. Kekeke... But we quickly exited the toilet when Sihui breathed in something smelly >_<

Maybe I should say, we'll miss the Toasti!!! It's on the kid's menu - basically a toasted ham & cheese sandwich, tat comes with a small soft drink & a scoop of ice-cream. Great value for little stomaches like us. Ahahahaha.... But unfortunately, it wasn't available on weekend menu. Only buffet available. *Shrugs*
ANYWAY, end of the dinner, as we were walking towards our car, Dad spotted something. Yep, bunnies! 2 of them! So cuteee!!! They were roaming freely on the grass, eating grasses of course. Weirdly, they din touch the cabbages tat were obviously placed there for them. Guess the grass's always greener! Hehehe...

Mom said this bunny is a male... cuz' its tail pointed upwards?? -_-" SORRY, I duno the logic behind tat :P

Siqi wanted a photo with it. Heng ah! The bunny did not run away in time. Hehehe

This is the other bunny. Think they are couple. If not, they won't be behaving like tat...sniffing each other, caressing each other on the head... so sweet. But then again, very wary of each other too. Strange.

The couple juz hopped around the carpark area. 打情骂俏。 Hehehe.

& They jumped to the area at the back of our car! Kekeke...

See..they're so sweet to each other. Awww...

Too bad we noticed this too late. If not, we would have visited them every time we went there. Haiz. Wonder where will they go after the club house closed down their outlet there. Cuz' Europa have a enclosed area for them to stay in, at the patch of grass.

Oh by the way, at the end of the day, we had majong session. Auntie, Biaogu & Mom all lost to me! Buahahaha.... Must be cuz' of the animal liberation earlier. Hehehe. Okok...Kelvin won 五台 2 times & me 1 time! I took over him after he had to go to work at 9.30pm & we continued till 12 midnite. Oh gamblers :P

不好意思, kinda wordy for this post. Dun have photos lah :/ By the way, all the photos in this post are taken by my nokia N70 mobile :P So dun complain about the quality :P & if you see the presence of some weird characters in this post, they're actually chinese fonts. (Yay! Can finally type chinese!!!) Perhaps you wanna install chinese fonts in your PC to view the words heh.
That's about it. End of Sunday.
